Southern E-waste provides physical data destruction services for Perth businesses and organisations using our INFOSTOP IS13120HSV industrial shredder, producing a shred size of approximately 20 mm × 40–90 mm.
The shredding process is recorded by the machine’s internal camera system, providing an additional visual record of destruction, and a Certificate of Data Destruction is provided for your records.

Mobile phones must have the battery removed before physical destruction. We do not accept lithium-ion batteries for shredding.

We collect your media from your business premises.

Serial numbers and asset information are recorded where required.
3. Secure handling
Your media is securely handled and stored until destruction.
4. Physical destruction
The media is processed through our INFOSTOP IS13120HSV industrial shredder.
5. Documentation
A Certificate of Data Destruction is provided as part of the service, including the serial numbers of the hard drives and other media destroyed where applicable.
Video-Validated Destruction
Our INFOSTOP IS13120HSV incorporates an internal camera system that records the shredding process, providing an additional visual record of physical destruction.
Destruction Documentation
We provide a Certificate of Data Destruction detailing the media destroyed, including serial numbers where applicable, the quantity destroyed, and the date of destruction.

Can you shred SSDs?
Yes. SSDs are included in our hard drive shredding service and are charged at the hard drive rate.
Can you shred mobile phones?
Yes. Mobile phones can be physically destroyed provided the battery has been removed before shredding. Lithium-ion batteries are not accepted for physical destruction.
Can you shred tablets?
No. Tablets are too large for the feed opening of our shredding equipment. We accept tablets for e-waste recycling, but customers must factory reset them and remove any associated accounts before collection.
Can you shred USB drives and other digital media?
Yes. We shred USB drives, CDs, DVDs, data tapes and other suitable digital media.
Do you provide documentation of destruction?
Yes. We provide destruction documentation and record serial numbers or asset identifiers where applicable.
Do you provide collection?
Yes. We provide collection throughout the Perth metropolitan area. Minimum quantities or collection charges may apply depending on the location and size of the job.
